Kraft Family

Midway through summer I got to hang out with one of my favorite "regular" clients - the Kraft Family!  Ann-Marie, Danny, Colson and Carridy really make things easy for me.  They smile easily, put up with my random choice of picture spots and Danny puts up with my love of "kissy" pictures!  AND to top it off, Ann-Marie is the queen of preparedness, complete with props for picture ideas she found on Pinterest (which I LOVE by the way) AND a complete arsenal of bribery for the kids and dad.  I think when and if I ever get around to updating this blog/website to a more full service site, I'll have to hit Ann-Marie up for a "How to plan for your photo sitting" tutorial!

Aren't these high school sweethearts just absolutely adorable!

I LOVED that the University High School lockers were open when we walked by!

I'm a sucker for a "Happily Ever After"!
Not sure which one I like better - I love so much of both of these two.

Hartwig Family

Early in the summer I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family.  Fresh with a new addition we ventured through Fresno State taking every opportunity to run in the grass and chase each other around.  These kids adore one another and are totally smitten with their new little sister.

Thanks Jobie for allowing me the privilege to capture memories of your family at this stage of life and congrats again on your darling new addition.

Weber-Wells Family

I love this family!  If I hadn't needed to get back to my own family, I would have stayed and taken pictures of them all day.  They were great and mostly willing subjects.  I do think the kiddos were about done with being on the front end of my camera by the time we finished but the bribery with taking pictures helped and we may just have a few budding photographers in the works!

After getting full family shots we broke into the usual smaller family units.

And we couldn't forget the furry kids!

Sharing the Light Workshop - Part 1

A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor in participating in a photo workshop with 5 other ladies.  All of us are photographers that want to broaden our business and fine tune our skills.   And all of us have a common connection through our faith - what a better way to bond!

A special thanks to my friend, Kimberly Moore (http://kimberlyreneephotography.blogspot.com/), who thought up this idea and put it into action.  For our first workshop we started with a brainstorming session, sharing about our wants/needs/strengths of our photography talents.  Kim graciously shared her lighting kit that we played with for a bit at her home and then we ventured out to a local field where she had lined up two great model groups to practice with and share ideas.  These are some of my favorite shots of the sweet family group.  Stay tuned for my favorites from our "sunset" model!

Ladies - I'm looking forward to our next workshop and thrilled to have become acquainted with you all!

Stephanian Family

This family was overdue for updated family group pictures.  Ring leaders Cortney and Forrie's kids are growing fast and their oldest Jared is about to graduate high school.  Over a year ago brother, Jeremy and wife Lindee welcomed new addition, Jenna.  Great-uncles were in town to visit and Grandma Mickey's health is not good so pictures together were very valuable.  So glad we were able to set a date and make it work with all the schedules back in February.

This beautiful couple is what got the ball rolling on family pictures.  Thanks again Cortney & Forrie for opening up your beautiful home for our location!

Mothers and Daughters - LOVE it!

3 Generations - FABULOUS!

It doesn't matter which side of the family you belong to - these girls are pretty special people.

Can't leave out fathers and daughters - espeically the baby of the family!

There's definitly some silly in this family - such great funny boys!

How about grandsons and grandpas?  Special bond indeed.

Grandmas and grandsons are pretty special too!

And this beautiful lady, who means the world to many, myself included, was such a great sport with all my picture taking.  Love you Mickey!

And what better way to wrap up a session but with love and laughter!
